Update on services during COVID-19 outbreak

Ontario continues to take decisive action to protect the health and safety of all people and families during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Developmental services agencies continue to support people with developmental disabilities during the COVID-19 outbreak, but some offices or programs may be closed or impacted, and visits to residential programs may be restricted to help protect residents and staff. Please contact your service provider for updated information.

People with a developmental disability want to be active participants in their communities. To do that, they rely on a variety of local programs and services that promote inclusion and involvement.

The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services provides funding for developmental services and programs that support inclusion for adults with a developmental disability and their families. These services enable them to live, work and participate in a wide range of activities in their communities. Community agencies deliver most of our services and supports.
